Myrna Gonzalez is a Los Angeles-based Visual Development Artist and Illustrator working in freelance since 2019. She has experience working under an internship with Klever Compliance through their visual development and compositing team. She loves designing and painting backgrounds, animating in 2D and create illustrations digitally. In her spare time, Myrna likes to go on road trips around the US, volunteer in community cleanups and hang out with her German Shepherd Mix, Oscar.
I have been drawing for as long as I can remember, whether it be with baby food or stealing whatever office supplies my parents had. I always loved watching cartoons as a kid, but when I was around 8 or 9, I knew that I wanted to be one of the artists who were a part of making one. Ever since then, I have been stuck with this dream!
I grew up using printer paper, mechanical pencils and sharpies as my mediums until high school. It wasn’t until college that I started using my intuos tablet I received as a gift in 2010. My last two years of college, I was inseparable from my Cintiq and my Ipad Pro.
I guess I can say that I work on all types of media, but I mainly work on digital illustrations either on my ipad or my wacom cintiq at home.
